Let`s take the journey together
Your souvenirs can become my subject
Sometimes you fall in love with a city.
Sometimes you are lucky enough and you live there forever
and still, you want to have your favourite spot
hanging on the wall of your room.
And sometimes you must leave
and decide to take with you a piece of art
which will remind you of its beauty.

OUR VIEW
"We love the view from our window" —so the instructions were clear: "Could all the landmarks be united in one painting?" It was a true challenge, capturing everything from the National Theatre to the Dancing House, not forgetting Mánes or Jazz Dock just beyond their doorstep. With trees in the scene as well, we chose rich autumn hues—because that's when Prague becomes the golden city above all others.

BEING PART OF THE PROCESS
"I love to walk in the blooming Petřín orchards. I live close and I consider it as my garden." - such were directions of Virginie who was leaving Prague for Lille, France and wanted to bring with her something personal. The good thing was that I love and know this place quite well too. Immediately different viewpoints popped out of my memory. We spoke a lot and shared some photos together; I did a few sketches for Virginie so that she can decide which view she prefers. Then I started to paint and send her photos of the creative process from time to time.
Commissioned art is our common journey.

FAMILY WALK ON THE RIVER BANK
"Our family loves strolling along the Vltava riverbanks, often stopping at Masarykovo nábřeží to admire the breath-taking view of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. It will also be a gift for my husband's 60th birthday" Anne said. 'And could you match the colours with the two violet-blue-toned paintings I bought earlier?' Of course—when we talk things through, everything becomes possible...

HAPPINESS IN DROME
Thank-you gift from guests to their hosts in the South of France.

SPRING PANORAMA IN INK
Evan wanted nice X-mas present for his brother and wife in France reminding them their spring visit to Prague.

TERASSE OF LOBKOWICZ PALACE
As a diplomat, Lorenza has lived in many different countries. Each time she prepares to move on and begin a new chapter, she marks the moment with something meaningful—a painting that captures the spirit of the place. She discovered my work during one of my exhibitions, but for a long time, she wasn't sure which scene of Prague to choose. Then one Sunday, while enjoying coffee on the terrace of Lobkowicz Palace on Hradčany Hill, she found it. The view spoke to her. From that moment, everything was clear. Sometimes, you just need to let your heart decide.

SAINT MATHEW CHURCH
"I need present for my son´s 30", told me Jana. Something from his native neighbourhood, place he loves and will remind him of home. One of special places in Hanspaulka, Prague 6, is the church of St. Mathew. It offers beautiful views of the valley of river Šárka and can be seen from far away. I find that the short dedication to her son that Jana wished to include at the bottom of the picture is moving testimony of her mother's love.
FOUR SEASONS
The Residence of Monaco in Grunewald, beautiful neighbourhood in west part of Berlin. I was asked to paint this charming house in four different seasons. And I`ve decided to choose four different parts of the day - early morning for spring, noon for summer, afternoon for autumn and night for winter. And square shape for all of them so that on the wall it fits nice all together.

THREE SISTERS
Laure wanted me to catch the time and make portraits of her lovely daughters. I wanted to make the picture even more personal and through urban landscape added the places they are associated with - whether it's the monument located in their hometown or the theatre they live behind now.

MEMORIES
"We had the privilege to see this view from the living room of our Vinohrady apartment thousands of times. It´s very special to our family." Going back to Milano, Massimo wanted to immortalize his view of Prague and have it forever in front of his eyes. He also wanted to surprise his wife with nice present for their return to Italy. As second painting he has chosen the school of their kids. It is simply not the same if you put a photo on your shelf or painting on your wall....

ONE PAINTING FOR EVERY CHILD
When your family has lived in Prague for ten years, you gather countless memories and keepsakes. Choosing just a few becomes a meaningful task. Sophie made her choice just one month before they moved away—a short window to complete four paintings, one for each child to have in their room. But we made it.

BEING SURPRISED
This was a birthday surprise for one of my Czech friends who told me once that the view from Hanavský pavilón at Letná is her favourite. No wonder, there are many of us who agree. The bridges following each other, the river getting lost far away close to Vyšehrad Cathedral... it´s simply breath-taking.

NATIVE HOUSE
This was not easy one - a birthday present for 75th anniversary. I was asked to paint old Štramberk and native house of Iveta´s mother. Composition was based on several old photos which were showing separately Štramberk and the house from different points of view. And while working with ink, I have received another demand - contemporary Štramberk in summer coat.
